World class beaches, picturesque islands, fashionable resorts, pristine marine reserves and internationally renowned national parks – Krabi’s got it all!

Beaches – relax on unspoilt Ko Phi Phi beach, once the romantic setting for Hollywood blockbuster ‘the Beach’ or check out the lovely beach in the popular holiday resort of Ao Nang, voted second in the Australian travelers ‘The Worlds Ten Most Popular Beach Resort Destinations’ in 2011. Then there are the laid back beaches of Railay and countless other hidden coves just waiting to be uncovered.

Islands – with more than 150 to choose from, exploring Krabi’s famous islands could prove a full time activity! Ko Phi Phi Leh Island, Ko Phi Phi Don and Ko Lanta are the most well known, but there are many others lying in crystal clear waters so shallow that you can wade between them during low tide and enjoy excellent snorkeling and scuba diving conditions.

National Parks – take time to visit at least one of the acclaimed Krabi National Parks that include sprawling Mu Ko Lanta which encompasses the islands of Ko Lanta Yai, Ko Lanta Noi and Ko Taleng Beng, Than Bokkhorani with its dramatic cliffs, dense mangrove forests, rivers and waterfalls or the flourishing marine environment of Hat Noppharat Thara.

Other fascinating natural wonders include the Khao Pra Bang Khram wildlife sanctuary (home to the therapeutic Khlong Thom Hot Springs), the intriguing Diamond Caves at Railay and the Susan Hoi Fossil Cemetery.
