Villa Bua
The larger of the two villa types, Villa Chaba can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 separate bedrooms, each with sea views.
Two double bedrooms are located on the ground floor and open onto the pool deck. Each has its own en suite bathroom and dressing room. The bathrooms feature twin washbowls and an oversize walk-in rain shower with panoramic views over the bay (a one way mirror glass wall gives complete privacy); while the bedrooms offer state of the art rotating king size beds for those who wish to change their orientation for better views, or better sleep, as advised by Feng Shui principles.
At the heart of the villa is the main communal space, with a large open plan design, accommodating a lounge and dining area, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Light suffuses the space through the large picture windows, which can be opened in full for access to the pool; the cathedral ceiling gives an airy feel.
A staircase from here leads up to the third bedroom, which is at mezzanine level under the eaves. Twin beds overlook the bay.
Each room in the villa has a flat panel LCD television with satellite connection and DVD player, as well as wi-fi internet access. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances including a two door fridge-freezer, a three ring gas stove, and microwave with grill. All tableware and serveware is provided.
The villa is tastefully furnished with modern Thai paintings and custom made, sustainably sourced teak furniture from Chiang Mai. Particular attention has been given to designing the outside living space, at the center of which is the private, salt-treated infinity pool. This overlooks the sea and is surrounded by a large sun terrace as well as a covered “sala”, a Thai –style pavilion that can be used for relaxing or al fresco dining.Rate
